THANK YOU so much for all of your ongoing support in my craft and my artistic practice! I am deeply devoted to creating and being involved in contemporary work that is emotionally charged with the goal of bringing movement to a broad and diverse audience. I am equally dedicated to creating platforms and spaces in which one can experience personal transformation through movement and freedom of expression. I believe that one’s lived experiences can block these transformative moments and I aim to use movement as a catalyst to deconstruct those barriers. In healing oneself, we all benefit and collectively can transform.

Because of the magnitude of such work it is also important to name the demand for required resources during the creative process. I am humbly asking for your support to help sustain my latest project which will deepen my craft, allow me to enrich my community, and document the transformative power of movement for introspection.

I am so honored to announce that I have been selected as a North Carolina Arts Council Artist Support Grant award recipient in support of my latest working-project, INTROSPECT! Durham Arts Council strives to create a vibrant community through the arts. I am incredibly grateful to have received funding from the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, and Durham Arts Council, local grants administrator.

It also brings me great joy to announce the launch of my latest work, INTROSPECT, a community-based initiative. This critical funding will provide resources that will allow me to enrich and connect with my community in a way that bridges the gap of arts and whole-health and wellness, with the goal to create visibility around why arts in the community is so important for both youth and adults.
